The preliminary dental hygiene procedure is suitable for children younger than 12 who have never had a dental hygiene appointment or if a year has passed since their last visit. Children can only be treated when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

First, we’ll examine your child’sc teeth and asses their oral health and hygiene.

We’ll explain to you and your child where the problem lies, how it started, and how we can help.

We’ll dye your child’s teeth with a special solution which will show where the teeth have not been properly cleaned.

We’ll take photos of everything so we can make comparisons during your future visits.

We’ll painlessly treat your child’s teeth with the Swiss GBT protocol, using the AIRFLOW method to remove plaque and the Piezon No Pain method to gently remove tartar.

Lastly, we’ll treat the teeth with hydroxyapatite to strengthen the teeth enamel.

Your dental hygienist will recommend a date for your next appointment, which will be somewhere between one month and one year from the first treatment, depending on the child's oral health.

VariOr® Caries
The result of this test determines the propensity for the formation of cavities. When both mothers and their children are tested, it determines the risk of transmission of bacteria to the child, or it confirms or negates the presence of bacteria in the child's oral cavity. A hygiene and treatment plan will be developed based on the results.VariOr® Caries
